Inspiration - I Will Act Now...
I will act now. I will act now. I will act now. Henceforth, I will repeat these words each hour, each day, everyday, until the words become as much a habit as my breathing, and the action which follows becomes as instinctive as the blinking of my eyelids. With these words I can condition my mind to perform every action necessary for my success. I will act now. I will repeat these words again and again and again. I will walk where failures fear to walk. I will work when failures seek rest. I will act now for now is all I have. Tomorrow is the day reserved for the labor of the lazy. I am not lazy. Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure. I will act now. Success will not wait. If I delay, success will become wed to another and lost to me forever. This is the time. This is the place. I am the person. ~ Og Mandino

I have no idea who Og Mandino is but that is one hell of a quote, Janet. Thank you so much for posting it.
ReplyDeleteStarted off looking for quotes on breathing (you know, 'just breathe'), and found that! Amazing - and my new mantra to go along with my Word of the Year: Focus!
ReplyDelete"I will act now" - yep, hitting send right now :)
Love this! *tattoos it to forehead* I offer two quickies to go along with it:
ReplyDeleteI never worry about action, but only inaction.
~~Winston Churchill
Action speaks louder than words but not nearly as often.
~~Mark Twain
Excellent additions, Silver - and I hear you about having this tattooed on the forehead! Powerful stuff!
DeleteHell of quote, Janet. I've never heard of this fellow either, but he's so right. So many times we procrastinate out of laziness, or maybe fear, and the things we dream about accomplishing never come to be.
ReplyDelete'I will act now' is a great mantra. Sounds like a good one to paste to the computer!
Jana
Absolutely right on about the procrastination, Jana - especially with the 'fear'!
DeleteFunny - I have "I.Will.Act.Now." printed off and attached to my computer! It's brilliant.
